afterform runs lean: an architect-led core plus a bench of freelancers we are steadily building. There is rarely a formal vacancy, but there is always a next project. Reels beat CVs.
What we look for
Freelance, London / remoteAn architectural background
Part 1, 2 or 3, with an interest in film and animation. Spatial thinking is the part we cannot teach quickly: how a building goes together, how a camera moves through it, why one shot reads and another does not. Software comes second.

People who want to push what composite 3D and AI workflows can do together, rather than running them as two separate pipelines. If you have opinions about where the seam between them should sit, we would like to hear them.

Strong Photoshop and a real interest in AI tools. Most of the finishing work is still a person deciding what a frame needs and then knowing how to get it, which is a craft the tools have not replaced.
Get in touch →ComfyUI knowledge is a plus rather than a requirement. Premiere Pro and After Effects are both valuable here too. If one of the three above sounds like you and the tool list does not quite match, write anyway.

Every project starts with a paid narrative phase, so by the time you're on, the direction is locked and the shot list exists.
Bounded revisions
Four review rounds are scoped in; beyond that is billed. You'll never absorb infinite variation requests.

Cloud burst rendering and remote workstations when deadlines spike. The pipeline scales, not your evenings.
